Because I Love Mornings - II

From another morning, somewhere else - distinctly remember the lightness in my steps as my friend and I clambered up this hillock and perched ourselves there, watching the world slowly come awake all around us. :-)

How.. how? How does one convince himself/herself that its good to wake up early, when the pillow and the duvet suggest otherwise?

Nice colors.

But at what point does a hill become a hillock, a bull a bullock, a butt a buttock?

To me, these are the essential sorts of questions to which humanity should devote more thoughlocks.

Casablanca - Once you discover the pleasure it aint that difficult. For me, it came with waking up at 5.30 am for my 7 am lecture at college...and starting the day with Kandisa (a track by Indian Ocean), coffee and the cool breeze caressing my face on my terrace!

Phal - Thankyou ji :-)

Paul - Now there's a million-dollar question. Deserves some research eh? ;-)

Gulnaz - Thanks :-)

Aparna - LOL, this aint no shaadiwali photu - usmein to I'd be wearing Banarasi sari na? ;-) This was in Goa, just before my TY results were declared. Another lifetime away!

The exhilaration in watching a day slowly but surely unfurl before your eyes....the light gently moving & caressing the world awake. Enveloped in the strength of the morning sun life is renewed.

Good Morning.

Vijayeta - Thanks and chill :-)

Casablanca - LOL...go for it!

LivingHigh - Dude, kya re, you don't read the comments above before posting? I told Aparna also - it's in Goa....not the Goa one usually sees, but Goa nevertheless :-)

Phal - One doesn't wake up early coz one is ill, it's generally the other way around. Sunrises are also meant to be enjoyed - just as sunsets are.

GamesMaster - Checking and letting you know...:-)

Manjusha - Good Morning to you too! :-)

I am in awe of people who rise early. The only time I could do that was before exams:P
Nice pic :))

Strange sort of conundrum but for all my "I'm not a morning person", I like waking up for a walk. I like the pic - you remind me of one of my best friends. :)

And Goa, eh? Lucky you, my dear!

Hey very nice pic!

I'm totally a morning person and relate to your posts. I do get a lot of flak for it from most of my roomies and friends as I end up waking each one really early on these escapades...

We're a dying breed I tell you.

Goa is sublime... mornings or evenings... its just somehting else!

Shall add you to my morning reads...:-)

Extempore - Oh yes, that was one divine trip...best friend huh? Lemme guess morng walk happens at Nana-nani park or on beach?

Saurabh - Merci...shall drop by your blog and check it out. Dying breed we are (heheh), though I must add that not ALL my morngs start that early :-) Just appreciate that part of the day just as much as I do dusk, twilight and midnight...

Aristera - Tum ko bhi sikhayenge - Kandisa and a steaming mugga good coffee might just get you hooked! ;-)

August - Yes it is.
