Ola!

Went to Churchgate today - why? Mulleh ki daud Masjid - Meri daud BCL!! Hahah! I had to return the books I had, get new books, plus pick up some stuff on behalf of a professor.

After that I was walking down when voila - I saw Sanchia from my Alliance Francaise days. So we two booklovers went to Oxford Bookstore and wondered why 'Oxford', so British sounding a noun is joined with 'store' so American sounding a noun. Or why 'Bombay Swadeshi' has become 'Bombay Store'...and we spoke about the Americanisation of Indian accents and language and how we are in this process of being ideologically colonised all over again by the West! Deep eh? We stopped when we realised that....haha! I picked up a copy of Brecht's 'Mother Courage and Her Children' - its prescribed for our Drama paper this year. Also bought some clear folders for my notes, so I can be neatly organised! (Just couldn't resist them!)

Then, I went to Alliance Francaise and got my admission fees for Niveau III transferred to the session in January. I hope it is not in vain!

Finally returned for home...loads of SMS in between - I'm worried again about my bill! At this rate my father will really get me to shift to a pre-paid, so there is a control over my bills! It's increasing by the month...jeeps!

Phew...I'm tired today - have this cough that's awful...shall go now to the library and then perhaps catch a movie on the tube - if a good one is being screened ofcourse!
