Short Story

"Hang your head Tom Dooley" – as I kept humming that tune inside my head, I realised it can sound quite menacing and all of a sudden an image of “poor Laura” holding a knife popped into my head. So I sat me down at the computer and let my fingers build the image further – came up with a short story which I’ve posted on Literary Mosaic for feelers – as before, comments are more than welcome. Leave them here or at LM! :-)

Had a pretty decent weekend apart from the enforced movie-experience – filled with late night Biryani dinners, great conversations and a Caferati meet. The week has been its usual lazy, vella self so far, except for yesterday evening which passed in a flurry of activities as I put in my two-bit for a dinner party – need to stop being lazy and go to AFP and MMB-Pune to get some formalities out of the way, and thinking of making a painting for Dr.B…

Very nice story. She is on the edge and you capture that very well. The words and the character blend in perfectly. Looking forward to more!
