Phew...a trip to Pune with en route halts at Lonavala and Karla caves, for house-hunting, followed by Holi on Sunday...jesus but days seem to be flying past...I didn't even realise how fast the mid-term break at AF got over...now that I think back I seem to have accomplished little...sigh...ah well I did have my share of fun...which is ALSO imp in life, in order to not get stuck in that boring old rut! :)
Pune was good...as in I had fun this time. We had breakfast at Fariyas, in Lonavala - pretty much pigged out - it's been ages since I've had such a sumptuous breakfast(the Danish pastries were to die for!!!). After that Amma-Papa and Schnapps moved onto Pune in our car, while Bhaiyya, Bhabhi,Annika, Suku and I headed towards Karla caves in Suku's Bolero. That was interesting - the 150 steps climb was worth the effort. Have to put up photos of that....tomm hopefully.
Pune was HOT - 38 degress in the day time...that made it exhausting, specially coz we were mostly just looking at possible future homes...not the most fun thing in most circumstances, but with this kinda scorching energy-sapping heat...need I say more? Liked a couple of places, but have to consider the distance to Papa's factory as well...lotsa thinking lined up ahead for us... :) Ofcourse my father also HAD to go build his factory on a 'dongar'...couldn't belive it! i mean the land is great...the view is awesome..but the drive to that place daily is ...well gonna be tiring to say the least! But who can argue with dear Mr.Shrivastava?
Hmm....ok I do have loads more to say, but I'm truncating this coz I gotta go to BCL today and get some stuff for poetry...guess I'll wrap this up tomm in peace and with more details....
