Thanks Akshay & Parth... (Akshay, these were taken from window in brother's room - there are fields behind our apartment complex. The first photo was taken yesterday - they were burning that field in preparation for the new season...The second photo was taken when we'd shifted last year in June, just before seeds were sown. )

Phal - Apartment is in Pune (rather in a village just outside Pune) - our Apt complex is the only one in this area, rest is village and fields! Trust me I was not as delighted as you are when I shifted here from 7 Bungalows Bbay! ;-) But it's grown on me now...kidna nice to go up on the terrace and just gaze at the fields, watch the trains go by, see the traffic on the flyover in the distance...very small-townish :-) Come visit if you're in Pune!
HN - Oh come on! Don't attack me so much for that one line! *embarassed face* Will it help if I say this song was stuck in my head when I thought of Blogging? "Sowing the seeds of love.." - Tears for Fears? (have a feeling it won't...)
